The 7 stars of the Great Bear (sometimes called the seven Rishis of the Great Bear. Mdb) are the originating sources of the 7 rays of our solar system. The 7 Rishis of the Great Bear express Themselves through the medium of the 7 planetary Logoi Who are their Representatives and to Whom They stand in the relation of cosmic Prototype. The 7 planetary Gods manifest through the medium of the 7 sacred planets. (Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, and Vulcan.mdb) Each of these seven rays is transmitted into our solar system through the medium of three constellations and their ruling planets.
(Every Deity, entity, or atom is threefold, differentiating into seven Deities or entities. It is the same principle as the ray of a sunbeam, which has three primary colors hidden and manifest as the seven colors of the rainbow. A human being also has seven vehicles. The analogy between the microcosm and macrocosm will be helpful. The relation of a cell or atom in one of the abdominal organs to the soul on its own plane will illustrate a greater relationship. In this interplay of Lives and Their emanating streams of forces and in the major determining life activities of That in which all forms live, move, and have their being is to be found the certainty of ultimate achievement and the expression finally of divine unchangeable Purpose. The evolutionary effects of this relation of Life to Form are found in the undeviating way of an ever-unfolding consciousness. Hence the Will of God moves the worlds, and the Love of God determines results.
All approaches to truth in this cycle must be in consciousness as the consciousness aspect is the dominant conditioning factor of our solar Logos in this cycle. (In the next solar system, the focus will be on spiritual Will.mdb)
Perception and response of the observing consciousness carried on through the medium of the response mechanism are dependent upon the condition of "aliveness" of the centers or their quiescence. Upon this activity and its understanding depends on the whole science of astrology. In this statement, I give you a clue that may someday revolutionize the current approach to astrology. (the activity of the centers affects the development of the causal body, the vehicle for the soul. The 12 signs of the zodiac fall into two groups of signs, and their related synthesis has much to do with the Science of Triangles. They are:
SEVEN signs related to the unfoldment of planetary consciousness upon Earth and only incidentally involving the fourth creative Hierarchy, the Human Hierarchy and
FIVE signs related to the unfoldment in time and space of the Human Hierarchy. These 5 signs are of major CONDITIONING importance. They are as follows.
CANCER, LEO, SCORPIO, CAPRICORN & PISCES.
These 5 signs are related in the planetary sense to the five great races of which our present race: the Aryan, is the fifth. Under the influence of the five signs, these five races produce the externalizations called the five continents: Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, America. These five continents are to the planetary Life what five major endocrine glands are to the human being. They are related to the five centers.
We could define Life as the energy emanating from certain great Lives Who stand behind our solar system as its Life and source, much as the Monad stands behind the appearance of a man upon the physical plane. Man is the expression of seven principles and of the life expression or activity of five planes. This 7 + 5 is the clue to the mystery of the seven and the five zodiacal constellations.
(Since everything is reversed on the subtle plane, we know that 7 planets are the manifest while 5 are on the higher planes and are called the unmanifested planets. It is said that the twelve planes can be counted as 7 major and 5 minor, similar to the keys of a piano. The 5 planes are related to the development of the mind. The 5 signs might do the same.mdb)
We have worked out today's influences from three major constellations within this sum total of active, qualified energies. These pour through certain other related constellations and planets into the three major planetary centers: Shamballa, the Hierarchy, and Humanity. It is with these three centers I would seek to deal with. These energies are transmitted from one point to another or pass through with transmuting effect from one center to another, thus bearing their own vibratory quality and carrying that of the center of transmission. In the transit of energy from a major center to a human being, when the energy is finally GROUNDED in the disciple's center, you will notice that it is then a fusion of six energies. These three groups of energies (a fusion of six) make the dominating energies, controlling the human being, to number eighteen.
This holds the clue to the mystery of the "mark of the beast," 666. This is the number of active, intelligent men and distinguishes his form nature from his spiritual nature, 999. (666 refers to the not-self, the personality, because 18 is the number of subplanes (of the Cosmic Physical Plane) it traverses in its development. It covers 7 subplanes of the physical, 7 subplanes of the astral, and only 4 subplanes of the mental plane because the mental unit covers only 4 subplanes. 999 might indicate 27 subplanes. It would cover the subplanes of the physical, astral, mental, and six subplanes of the Buddhic plane. mdb)
